Interestellar
"We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars, Now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt."

Interestellar was directed by Christopher Nolan and it was relased in 2014. It is a dramatic, science fiction and dystopia film, and the grate soundtrack was composed by Hans Zimmer. The main character, Joseph Cooper, was performed by Matthew McConaughey and the production won so many prizes due to his grate work: Hollywood Visual Effects Award (2014), Best Science Fiction Film (2015), Satellite Award (2014), MPSE Golden Reel Awards (2015)... A part from its incredible production, Interestellar is known for the great scientific work that is into the plot. Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist and Nobel Laureate in Physics, was a scientific advisor and consultant in the production of the film, to ensure scientific accuracy and coherence in the representation of the astronomical concepts and phenomena shown in the movie.

Cooper says a very important phrase, and I have no doubt that it is the one that stands out the most in the movie, just before he goes into space. He is talking to his father to take care of his children while he is away and explains the reasons why he has decided to leave the Earth. He knows that he has to look for another habitable planet for the popullation to have a good future, since Earth is coming to an end. He comments that in the past they admired the stars and now they only hope to find a home there. His phrase makes us think about the importance of climate change and how we have to take care not to pollute the Earth. We don't seem to realize that every time we harm the planet we harm ourselves. If we don't want to go through the same circumstances as the characters in the movie, we have to be aware of our actions.
